A better health experience for all.
Weaving Rally’s manifesto through events, videos, member challenges, and digital experiences. This is where I caught the health care bug.

The Brief
The first big challenge in redesigning the Rally corp site was restructuring its entire content for both a B2C and B2B focus. The previous site achieved low traffic, engagement and did not generate substantial qualified sales leads. With this redesign, our 4 main goals are:
1. User-friendly Navigation
2. Scalable, flexible and appropriately positioned content (downloadable)
3. Clear strategic messaging journey for multiple audiences
4. Refreshed design with audience, portfolios and product lines
Solution
Each page laddered up to Rally’s mission whether we were talking to HR directors or a working mom looking to enroll. We kept the copy to just the essential stuff with zero fluff.
Role: Journey mapping, site copy

Tour of California
Give it more cow bell they said.
The Brief
As the title sponsor for the Rally Cycling Team we want to amp up our presence to tap into a broad demographic of active members. Develop an experience that travels easily from stage to stage and engages communities to live healthier with Rally. We need giveaways, signage, and print ads in the official Tour of California souvenir program.
Solution
We invited race fans to pedal their way to ‘spin art’ masterpieces. Set up prime viewing VIP areas at the finish line for local providers and health systems with food, beverages and swag. We gave away Rally branded cow bells which are a fan staple at cycling events. Designed a limited edition t-shirt to give away at each stop.
Results
Over 1.2 million impressions in the form of smiles and cheers all along the route from Sacramento to Morro Bay.
Role: Concept, experience storyline, giveaway messages, t-shirt design

Your Healthy Life with Rally
Winning the game of good health.
The Brief
With in-person events on hold, we want to gamify the Rally experience to drive registrations and engage clients/members in a memorable way. Deliver the same key messages that we'd normally communicate on site. Deliver it in two months.
Solution
Collaborating with an external agency partner, we developed a virtual board game inspired by the classic Game of Life that led players through five key Rally pillars: Awareness, access, motivation, behavior change, support, and guidance. We rewarded them with Rally Coins that they could bank in their Rally account. Traffic is driven to the game via a client deployed toolkit campaign consisting of emails, flyer, and digital display. Thousands have played since launching January 2021.
Results
989, 347 targeted. 726, 884 played.

Rally Brand Videos
Bringing the benefits of Rally to life
on a beautiful day in LA.
In February 2019 we descended upon the Rancho Park neighborhood in Los Angeles to bring Rally to life inside of an awesome mid century home. Over 30 diverse people cast. A crew of over 50. Craft service in the neighbor's front yard. It all started on a dry erase board in San Francisco three months earlier. Production is its own kind of magic.
The Brief
Create a series of videos that point out the voids in the healthcare system and why consumers need and deserve a solution. This video will showcase the values and benefits of the Rally platform enhancing the curiosity for consumers as to why they deserve a solution.
Idea
We created the 'Rally Effect' that showed the top health care pain points in real life moments and juxtaposed them with the Rally experience as the hero.
Role
Concept, scripting, casting, set direction, and final cut oversight

Rally House at SXSW
Walking inside the benefits of Rally.
The Brief
Generate brand impressions through continuous and consistent messaging throughout the course of SXSW (Pre, During, Post). Activations should support our overarching Rally story: Providing recommendations and support to build healthy habits and our digital tools that help individuals find, price and pay for care.
Solution
We created Rally House. An experiential journey into the world of Rally. Every interaction with guests fulfilled our brand promise of putting health care in the hands of everyone. The Rally story carried through from invitations to the swag that guests took home.
Results
The result was thousands of industry and consumer visitors leaving with a positive impression of a digital health company striving to make the world a bit more simple.
Role
Copy lead, house naming, messaging roadmap and oversight, external agency collaboration, execution review.

Six Speed
Real Appeal Onboarding Videos
The start of a healthier life for 3M+ members.
The Brief
Create videos that welcome new Real Appeal members to the program and provide them a (quick) high level view of what to expect, set expectations and provide a “check list” of next things to accomplish prior to their first session.
Solution
In both videos we utilized 'Rally People' illustrations to bring to life the top aspects of the Real Appeal experience. The welcome video was intended to get new members pumped up for the journey ahead. In the second video we took them through the steps that prepared members for their first session.
Role

Stand Up To Cancer
Helping people make the pledge to stay healthy.
Rally collaborated with Stand Up To Cancer to help drive their mission to engage the public in supporting a new, collaborative model of cancer research, to increase awareness about cancer prevention, and to highlight progress being made in the fight against the disease. The collaboration extended to Optum, too.
The Brief
Rally engaged external agency Wondros
to highlight everyday ways people can reduce cancer risk. It needed to drive to TakeAHealthyStand.org where they can take a pledge to get screened for cancer. When taking the online pledge, users are provided with a personalized list of screenings, such as cervical or colon cancer screening, as well as preventive care options and tips for healthy living.
Idea
Reach out to commentators across sports to give play by play commentary on situations where people ‘make the healthy call’. But before TV and radio were developed, we needed to supply our partners Wondros with a messaging framework that laid the foundation for the theme of the three TV spots. We covered smoking cessation, healthy eating, and moving more.
