Kaiser Permanente Summer Olympics Site
Putting care teams on
the podium.
Throwback to my first dose of health care
I collaborated with the wunderkinds at a little shop in San Francisco’s Mission District to create a site for KP’s sponsorship of the Summer Games. We had a month from concept to launch.
The Brief
Rethink the Thrive campaign site to tie into the 2012 Summer Olympics. Elevate the doctors, clinicians, and nurses to show the teamwork that goes into keeping members healthy. Share the benefits of Kaiser Permanente through the stories of members and select care team members.
Idea
Give the messages and visuals a subtle, inspiring feeling that tracks to sport. Make it a seamless, dimensional experience using parallax scroll that keeps content surface level to eliminate deep linking. Share the benefits of being a Kaiser member through personal stories of receiving and providing care.
Results
Engaged over 2.5M Kaiser Permanente members during the run of the games
Role
Content lead, concept development, UX strategy
